Giving:   Throughout this pandemic, we have continued to minister to the community and continued to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in a new ways. Please do not forget to send in your tithes and offerings so that the ministry of Wysox Presbyterian can continue to go strong.

The St. Pauly clothing shed is now open for donations.  

Live Stream Worship Services:  We are now live streaming our services via Facebook!  Sunday mornings, if you're unable to attend our services in person, please feel free to login to our church's Facebook page to see everything live as it happens.  Please also feel free to "Like" and "Share" our feeds to your friends and family!  We will need your help in order to begin live streaming our services to YouTube.  If you haven't done so, please go to our church's YouTube page and hit that "Subscribe" button.  Once we receive 100 subscribers, YouTube will allow us to live stream our services there as well.  

POUND THE GROUND FOR ULTRASOUND:  EMPCC will have their 8th annual race for the First Look Pregnancy Center (provides free ultrasounds to women between 7-20 weeks) on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Riverfront Park in Sayre. The 10k Walk/Run begins at 8:00 am and the 5k Walk/Run begins at 9:30 am. Online registration at ends May 15, 2021. Event fees for online registrations:  $25/10k walk/run; $25 - 5K walk/run; entry fee for both events = $40; $60 - Family of 4 (same household)  for the 5K/10K. Day of the event registration fees:  $30/race or $50/both.  10k walk run registration 7:00-7:45; 5Kk registration 8:15-9:15.  Post race breakfast for all runners.  First 100 registrants recdeived a free T-Shirt.  T-shirts sold for $10 while supplies last.  

Hospital Visitation Resumes:  Clergy are now allowed to visit those who are in the hospital during the hospital’s limited, regular visiting times. If you would appreciate a visit from Pastor Jira while in the hospital, please let him know.

Community Vacation Bible School:  Open to all children pre-k through 6th grade.  Check out the "VBS 2021" tab for details!

Card Shower for Paul DeWitt:  Paul DeWitt recently moved to th Personal Care Home in Towanda.  If you'd like to send Paul a card of encouragement as he transitions to his new home, his address is:  Towanda Personal Care Home, 603 Williams Street Ext, Room 171, Towanda, PA  18848.  

2021 GRADUATES:  We would like to recognize our 2021 graduates in the June newsletter. If you know of someone graduating from a high school, trade school or college, please submit a write-up (and photo if possible) to the church office by Sunday, May 16th.

May Mission/Outreach:  For the month of May, we would like to help out the Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center with their wish list:  boy clothing up to 2T, girls clothing up to 2T, size 5 and 6 diapers, crib sheets, diaper bags, and gllaon sized ziplock bags.  Or, you may give a monetary donation.  

Children's Day / Church Picnic:  Join us for worship on Sunday, June 6th, as we'll conclude our year of Sunday School with our annual Children's Day service!  The Sunday School kids will present songs during the service. However, if you haven't been a part of our Sunday school class this year, we'd still invite your kids to come and participate in the service. The songs are easy to learn and can be picked up.  After worship, join us for a church picnic on the front lawn (weather depending) for fellowship.  Food will be provided - just bring yourselves!

EMPCC 27th annual benefit golf tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Towanda Country Club, with a 12 pm shotgun start (rain or shine).  $100 registration for non-members, $80 registration for members.  Registration includes cart and green fees, grab-n-go meal and golf awards.  Cash prizes for closest to pin # 2, #4, and #16.  $500 Jim's Sporting Goods Gift Certificate for Hole in One on #2, #4 and #16.  To register, please call 570-673-4476, or e-mail Stacy at
